Supply and/or Demand

1. IF YOU HAVE SUPPLY FIRST AND GET DEMAND YOU ARE LUCKY
2. IF YOU HAVE SUPPLY FIRST AND DO NOT GET DEMAND YOU ARE DEVASTATED
3. IF YOU HAVE NO SUPPLY AND NO DEMAND YOU ARE ON THE SIDELINES
4. IF YOU HAVE DEMAND AND NO SUPPLY YOU ARE BRILLIANT

If you can INTENTIONALLY set it up so you can prove demand before investing in supply, this is called OPPORTUNITY. BUILD IT and they WILL come is not only the worst scenario in the matrix, but the one that happens most often.

Conversely, prove that they want it, then BUILD IT is the smartest way to start, but the one that happens least often.

There are reasons why... but none of them are very good:(

1.  I won't be able to build it in time... YES YOU WILL
2. People will be mad if I do not have it... NO THEY WON'T
